BEFORE YOU BUY A DOG PLEASE READ

I am not much of a writer. As a pharmacist, I write quickly and I hope concisely. Now, I really  want to change that and be able to give people more information and help them make the right choice of puppy and learn how to care for their dogs Breeding and raising Aussiedoodles has been a challenge and very rewarding. I want to thank Kris Robards from  Double R Aussiedoodles and encourage anyone in the US to contact her and see her Aussiedoodles. All of our doodles have come from her Kennel after months research and visiting Kennels across the US we chose Double R Aussiedoodles as the kennel we purchased from. She has had years of breeding to a line of gorgeous, bright, healthy puppies.
So BEFORE YOU BUY A DOG, READ READ READ. Research the different breeds. What are you looking for in a dog? A new family member is coming into your home.  You want the right animal for your family. The right fit for everyone. You certainly do not want a bad experience for your dog or members of your family. Don't buy a dog because he or she is cute or cheap. Dogs are an investment of love time and money. In the first of your dog's life you will spend more money taking care of your animal than the actual price of your dog.
Choice of vets? We use Doni Zivitosky in Maale Adumin.
I could write paragraphs about Doni, but suffice it to say we think he is the very best. His prices are very reasonable   He will come to your home if necessary. He has come here at 9 pm at night. And he sees dogs in Jerusalem.
What kind of temperament does the breed you are choosing have? What kind of problems can you expect to see in your dog? Is that breed prone to hip dysplasia? What about food aggression? We hand feed our pups raw and cooked chicken along with kibble. How was your puppy raised? We raise our puppies in the house and they have a lot of contact with children. Crate train or not? Our first aussiedoodle we picked up at 8 weeks. We  picked up our second 2 at 12 weeks as we had to make arrangements to go back into the states to get them and I noticed it took longer for the 2 girls to integrate into our home. They were in a kennel a month longer.
Training and support? LET ME TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED IT. We can help you find the right resources and please feel free to email me at lbdpharm@gmail.com if I can be of any help to you  even if you do not purchase a puppy from us. We have 20 of our puppies living in homes in Israel and have made wonderful friends through our experience with Milo's Babies. Our pups come back to visit along with their families who have remained close friends. Some of them board with us when their owners are on vacation.
Two years ago, I lost my beautiful 31 year old daughter. I did not think I would be able to lift my head let alone feel joy. After I came home from Panama, I had been with her for 3 months we had a new litter. I picked up one of the pups and felt overwhelming joy and happiness. Believe me when I say that the addition of a puppy to your family will bring you such SIMCHAH.
