Molly's first pup goes home

Quick update on Jesse

his is just a quick update on Jesse, born Nov. 4, 2013, and who became a member of our family January 5, 2014 - now 14-weeks old (see photo, attached).  We have only great things to report.  Jesse is lovable, intelligent, and has integrated beautifully into our family.  Truly a great choice.  I get stopped on the street all the time re questions and comments.  

Jesse's learning curve is amazing. Achievements include: house training nearly perfect; come; sit; heel on leash; wait before entering or leaving the house; fetch (a work in progress); don't nibble on hands or nip at clothes (needs a bit more work); crate trained; stays alone in room or car without separation anxiety; loves car travel;  and likes or at least tolerates brushing an grooming. 

He is still slightly shy around other dogs after one bad experience with an aggressive dog here, but the local dog park in Tivon is great in bringing him back to balance. He is a bit too enthusiastic around children (typical puppy behavior), and we are trying to get him to restrain himself to not jump and kiss when inappropriate.  One of his favorite activities is to climb up the ramp to the local sliding board and to slide down head first (I'll try to send a video of this.)

We are working on the following: Lie down; stay; search and find, and use the treadmill. A future challenge is for Jesse to learn calculus - a math level that I never could master!

Jesse is a blessing for us, and I hope and trust that the feeling is reciprocal!

Visiting Adjunct Professor

With the help of Hashem, we now have the land to build a new Kelevland in the industrial zone on Mitzpe. As many of you know, we had to shut down Kelevland due to licensing problems but it has all been resolved now. We have alot of work ahead of us and we know it is not going to be easy, but we are very excited and grateful to Hashem for bringing us this far.And for the support of our Yeshuv who provided a way for us to move forward. We are hoping that many of you can provide advice and creative knowledge to help us move forward. We are looking for an architecht and groomers and advice on picking up a 4x4 cheaply and whatever advice you can provide to help us. We need to make sure we do this right. Thank you to all our friends, coworkers, clients who have given us their utmost support. Please share in our joy and simchas now as this Shabbos quickly approaches
