This blog has been a lot of fun for me. A lot of my postings have been quick and I apologize for any confusion and mispelling, I guess to alleviate any confusion we have 1 black male,1 parti female, one black with white trim female left from Molly's litter. Molly we think was possibly bitten by a snake in the desert and passed away several weeks ago which was very difficult for us.
We decided to start this business so I would not have to return to the states to work twice a year. I used to go to work and at the end of the day driving home think about the mitzvahs I had done during the day. I was in the same pharmacy for 10 years knew all my patients used to stop and teach my elderly patients how to use an inhaler on my way home and deliver rxs before a hurricane. If someone had an emergency, I used to take my dog Barclay put him in a shopping cart at 10 pm and run back to the pharmacy in Target where I worked and fill a prescription for someone in need . Healthcare has changed so much in the US that it is not a joy anymore. We hope to train some of the dogs as service dogs for children who need them...We have a lot of hopes and dreams and it has been an amazing experience. I will possibly go back to work one more time and bring back a male and female B"H.
I lost my beautiful 31 yr old daughter April 29 after being in Panama with her for 3 months and came home to 2 pregnant dogs.I felt very overwhelmed to say the least but I still remember helping Molly to give birth. I wish all of you could experience it....At those moments, I felt closer to Hashem than anytime in life..
The puppies have brought me so much joy. Especially due to the families that have taken them..I watch the kids hold the puppy in their arms and its such a simcha for me so I want to thank all of the wonderful families for bringing my puppies into their homes. Shabbat Shalom Leah
